Run2Sky -- Thomas Dold

With its 434 participants the Towerrunning in Basel also being the start of the Run2Sky Europe series was significantly more successful than in the years before. At their chase after the record Gabriel Lombriser from Switzerland was first in the men classification. In 2:41.1 minutes the series winner was less than one second faster as Thomas Dold from Germany (2:42.0 minutes). Both runners beat the old course record. Although missing the course record tightly Claudia Riem won the women classification of the first run of Run2Sky Europe with 3:41.2 minutes. Second was the only twelve-year-old Marie-Fee Breyer from Freiburg/Germany with 3:46.9 minutes.

Thus already the first run of the Run2Sky Europe was very exciting. During the next weeks everybody has some time to get prepared for the next runs. On 10th May already we continue with the next round of the chase for the 10.000 Euros prize money of Run2Sky Europe.

There are only a few days left until the start of the Run2Sky Europe in Basel. The application deadline also runs out within the next days. So apply quickly to participate at the Towerrunning in Basel und mit dabei sein beim Towerrunning Basel.

In any case there will be something special in Basel. You can already see the cup of the Run2Sky Europe that will be given to the winners in Berlin. Who wants to have a look at the extraordinary trophies that were specially designed and manufactured for the series should necessarily pass by at the Messeturm in Basel.

In 10:07 minutes Thomas Dold (Deutschland) won the men competition, whereas Suzy Walsham (Australia) was first at the women’s result in 13:27 minutes.
