Messeturm Frankfurt – 24st May 2009

Phenomenal! This is how you may describe the Messeturm without exaggerating because this is what you can literally feel in the upper levels of Frankfurt’s landmark. With its height of 257.5 meters the tower overtops all other competing towers even in the so called metropolis of banks. Being well-known as a financial and trading center in the business world it also became famous in the tower running scene. For the third time this year’s highest building at the Run2Sky Europe series is also the highest tower run in Europe. In Frankfurt you will expect the longest but maybe also most beautiful Run2Sky.

Description of the route:

The run starts directly in front of the Messeturm at the exhibition square. The competitors will start in intervals of up to one minute after each other. Then the way leads directly to the staircase in the lobby. The steps are rather low and the railing is on the right-hand side. A triangular floor plan will lead you up level by level. There are 10 steps each on the two shorter sides of the triangle; the longer side is approx. 5 meters long and totally even. After the first 10 nonstandard levels the rhythm remains the same until the finish at level 61.
